Albert Hotel - Peterhead

During my couple of nights here, I found the quaint atmosphere delightful, perfect for our visit to family in the area. The boxed breakfast in the fridge was a lovely surprise, and I appreciated that it included a good variety of items. The cozy bar was a great place to unwind and the overall cleanliness made for a comfortable stay.

The hotel had a central setting close to the bus station. The double room I stayed in was a nice size and immaculate with excellent facilities. The staff was very amiable and affable, some of them especially.

The culinary highlights include a cozy bar with friendly service and delicious chicken and ginger soup that was an absolute winner! The breakfast box was packed with a lovely variety of treats. Plus, the room was spacious and quiet, perfect for a restful night.

While the hotel had a charming vibe, some areas were outdated and could use a bit of sprucing up. The furniture quality left a bit to be desired, but it still had a cozy appeal that somehow made everything shine.

The heating in the room was cranked up when I arrived, and there were issues with the window and blinds not closing properly, leading to early morning sunlight and noise from seagulls outside. The bathrooms felt outdated and cramped, with limited space, made using the shower a bit of a squeeze.

It was just a suitable option for a weekend escape in Peterhead with decent value for money. I enjoyed a lovely fish and chips meal that was definitely a highlight of the stay. Try to ask for a room away from the street to avoid noise.

The location was great, close to the airport, town center, and bus station; enjoyed having brunch at the Cross Keys nearby.

We really enjoyed this place, it's homely and comfy. Pleasant restaurant, gorgeous food. - People working here are very welcoming. - the location is central. - It's minutes from Arbuthnot Museum and other tourist sights.
